Charities.

FEMINOTEKA

A Polish foundation fighting against gender-based discrimination in all spheres of social, public and cultural life. They support, amongst others, female victims of abuse, women seeking access to abortion, LGBT+ ladies in all areas of life. Basically, it’s a group of brave women trying to bring about the necessary change in a conservative patriarchal society of Poland and I’d love to have a hand in that.

ASTRAEA

Astraea was founded by a small group of multi-racial, multi-class women to address the lack of funding for females - specifically lesbians and women of colour. Today, it’s the only philanthropic organization working exclusively to advance LGBTQI human rights around the globe. They work for racial, economic, social, and gender justice and strive to expand the community of individuals and institutions that support lesbian and trans issues.

12-Step Programs for Addiction Recovery

Originally proposed by Alcoholics Anonymous as a method of recovery from alcoholism, the 12-step programmes propose a course of action for people struggling with addictions, compulsions and any other behavioural problems. One of them has helped me so much in my own struggles and I now wish to support it for it can help save millions of other people from the misery of addiction.
